What is Snapinn?

Snapinn is an online marketplace that offer you an authentic travelling experience through unique accommodations that spread out in Indonesia.


Reservation

How I can make a reservation on snapinn?

  1. Complete your profile!
  2. Your profile is a great way for others to learn more about you before they host you. When your profile is robust, it helps others feel that you're reliable and authentic. We require all hosts to have a profile photo, and guests are expected to upload a profile photo and have their ID verification before checking into their first reservation.

  3. Find your ideal home
  4. With so many unique accommodations spread out in Indonesia, we believe you can find the home that best suits your needs. When you are looking for your home, make sure you have input your destination city, number of guests, and your travelling date.

  5. Reservation!
  6. Congratulations! You have find the perfect place, now it’s time for you to reserve it. Once you has confirmed the reservation, you can choose your method to pay. Snapinn will hold the reservation for 6 hours, if the guest haven’t paid after 6 hours, the reservation will be automatically deleted, and you have to start it all over again.Whether the reservation is two days or two months away, we hold the payment until the guest is checking out before giving it to the host. This hold gives both parties time to make sure that everything is as expected.

Can I change the data or my profile picture?

Yes, you can change it on my profile.


What should I give to my host when I am checking in?

You can just show the host your payment confirmation through our email getaway.


Payment


What methods of payment does snapinn accept?

Offline or cash payments are a violation of our Terms of Service, and can result in penalty from snapinn. We prohibit off-site payments because paying outside of snapinn makes it harder for us to protect your information and puts you at a greater risk of fraud and other security issues.

We support several payment methods, such as:

Why should I pay and communicate through snapinn directly?

Paying and communicating through snapinn helps ensure that you're protected under snapinn protection policies It also makes it easy to find and reference important reservation details like a listing's address, your itinerary, check-in details, and other useful information. We can’t provide these benefits if your reservation isn’t booked and paid through snapinn. Paying or communicating outside of snapinn also makes it harder for us to protect your information and puts you at greater risk of fraud and other security issues.


Additional Cost


Will I get additional cost like tax and service fee?

Guest won’t need to pay for taxes and service fee for hosts, but additional cost for bank charges or other facilities that not included in the information may be charged directly to the guest.


Reservation confirmation


When will I get my reservation confirmation?

You will get a confirmation email getaway from snapinn a few minutes after you have successfully finish your payment.


What if a host informs me that the listing I already paid for is now unavailable?

Our team will gladly help to find another alternative with the same rate and location. If the guests are okay with the switch, we will help the reservation process, if the guests aren’t okay we will give you a full refund.


Cancellation Policy


Do I get full refund if I need to cancel?

Snapinn is using a “No Cancellation Policy”, so the guest can’t get refund if they are cancelling their reservation without any clear reasons.


What happened if the host cancel my reservation?

If your reservation is canceled by your host you'll have two options:

  • Transfer your payment to a new snapinn reservation
  • Get a full refund

What should I do if there’s a problem that caused by the listing during my stay?

If there’s a problem that caused by the listing and you’re unable to resolve it with the host, snapinn can help finding another accommodation with the same location and price or giving guest a refund. The nominal will be adjusted with the problem and snapinn policy.


Eligible travel issues:

  • The host fails to provide reasonable access to the booked listing.
  • Host given the wrong information on the list advertisement (ex: number of room, facilities, and amenities)

How to submit a valid claim for refund:

To submit a valid claim for your reservation, you are required to:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of check-in to document the issue and place a hold on the host's payment. Include photographs or other evidence of the issue as part of your claim.
  • Be responsive to our requests for additional information and cooperation.
  • Not have directly or indirectly caused the Travel Issue.
  • Have used reasonable efforts to remedy the circumstances of the Travel Issue with the host prior to making a claim, including messaging your host on snapinn to notify them of the issue. We'll verify this in your account.

Snapbid


What’s the difference between ‘snapinn’ and ‘snapbid’?

Just like another online accommodation service, you can choose ‘Reserve Now’ if you have sure and will proceed by paying in the rate that showed. But we have this additional feature called ‘Snapbid’, a great way to help you negotiate and get the price that you want for the accommodation.


How can I start bidding on snapbid?

For the accommodation that has join snapbid, you can start bidding by inputing the price that you want on the provided space. You can put the price that you make by yourself or the price that we will suggested. Within a certain period, the highest bid will win and get to rent that accommodation for the special price that you’ve chosen yourself.


Snaptrip


What is snaptrip?

An excursions or other activities designed and led by local host to give you unique access into places and communities in their city. It is made to give you an unforgettable memory and local taste of every city you visited.


How long will snaptrip be held?

The activity can happen over multiple day and offer as it is.


Are children and elder allowed to take snaptrip?

The activity can range from workshops to long treks, and are available for various ages, skill levels, and interests.


What’s included in snaptrip?

You’ll see information about what is or isn’t included by on the snaptrip information. Inclusions will vary for each experience.
